Offices Currently Closed to the Public

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Automated Health Systems (AHS) Child Care and Development Fund Voucher and On My Way Pre-K Eligibility Offices are now closed for walk-ins and in-person appointments. However, we still have several options to assist and support you with your children’s early care and education needs including out of school children.

If you are applying for the first-time ever, you can use the Early Ed Connect online application to apply for both On My Way Pre-K and the CCDF voucher program at Early Ed Connect This pre-application is only for CCDF and OMWPK applicants who have never applied before.

You can schedule appointments to be conducted by phone, access required forms, upload documents related to your case, submit a provider change, get answers to frequently asked questions and more.

Currently, you may drop off documents at Lake, St. Joseph, Allen, Tippecanoe and Vanderburgh County offices in the mail slot provided or you can mail information to: Automated Health Systems, 300 Main Street, Suite310, Lafayette, IN 47901. The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) helps low-income families obtain child care so they can work, attend training or continue their education. The purpose of CCDF is to provide low-income families with the financial resources to locate and afford quality child care as well as increase the availability of these programs.

On My Way Pre-K Program

How can my child prepare for kindergarten?

On My Way Pre-K (OMWPK) awards grants to 4 year olds from low-income families so that they may have access to a high-quality pre-K program the year before they begin kindergarten. Families who receive a grant may use the grant at any approved On My Way Pre-K program.
